Buffalo's third annual Movember Mustache Gala Party happened Tuesday evening at the Occidental Hotel, and this year, two individuals tied for the title of “Mr. Movember.”
Arnie Griffith, aged “some,” and Paxton Cotant, aged “very little,” tied for the title, being the favorites of those attending the party.
The Movember events are staged throughout the country to raise awareness about men's health issues and to persuade men to get better control of their health through proper screenings and checkups that will improve their health and save lives.
Julia Bettinger, Program Manager with Wyoming Cancer Resource Services, said this year's Johnson County Movember events were slightly different than in the past, and she explains why.
Bettinger said although participant numbers were down this year, she feels it was again a success.
Both Mr. Movembers received certificates good for a free alignment for their vehicle, or in Paxton's case, mom or dad's vehicle.
