Dozens of men and women donned mustaches, real for the men and fake for the women, to show their support for mens health issues at Thursday night's Movember Gala. The event was held at the Black Tooth Brewing Company in Downtown Sheridan, where there were contests for the best and even the lamest mustaches.

Program Manager of the Wyoming Cancer Resource Center, Julia Bettinger, was there sporting a stick-on “mo” and said she was grateful for the amount of support from the community.

Mickey McIntosh was part of Marathon Oil's team of mustachioed participants and he said he wanted to win the award for the lamest “mo.” Though Marathon Oil lost to ACT's team in the end, McIntosh said he was satisfied.

Although he said he was happy for ACT's team, McIntosh said things could have turned out differently.

Bettinger said that the next Movember event will take place this Saturday in Buffalo.
