Most roads in the northeaster part of the state were re-opened by 6 last night, according to Ronda Holwell of the Wyoming Department of Transportation regional office in Sheridan.
She said, in a release, that crews worked long and hard to clear roads and get the traveling public to their destinations.
All state roads in and around Sheridan and Buffalo are now open, but wet and slick in spots, as are those in Gillette. Interstate 90 is open from the Montana State Line to both Gillette and Moorcroft. The interstate is still closed to westbound traffic from the South Dakota State Line to Gillette.
Even thought most roads are open, the department spokeswoman is asking all motorists to be on the watch for snowplows and to slow down when they see the plows' flashing lights.
