Todd Morrison is congratulated by Buffalo Municipal Judge Mary Hupy.

Todd Morrison was sworn into his position as Buffalo's newest patrol officer at the city council meeting Tuesday night.
Buffalo Police Chief Jason Carder said Morrison will enter the Police Academy in Douglas April 16th to begin training.
He tells us when he will graduate from the academy.
Morrison will be learning by working with other patrol officers for the next few weeks before he enters the academy.
Morrison is the former Animal Control Officer and has been with the police department for the last couple of years.
He recently decided to pursue the position as patrol officer and stepped down from his ACO position, opening the door for current ACO/SMO Karen Kimutis, who was sworn in last month.
Morrison is expected to begin his patrol duties after graduating from the academy this summer.
