Yellowstone has had record number of visitors this year, but inhabitant numbers are up as well:

And, he says that since there are more bears and a limited ecosystem:
Because of this, Al reminds people to be especially bear-savvy:
He says a rule of thumb is that you should stay the length of a football field away from bears and wolves. However, if you are viewing an animal and it reacts to you, then that means you are too close.
