BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) - Students heading for classes at Montana State University can expect to see a lot of construction. The school is getting a major renovation with new buildings under construction and several older buildings getting major renovations at a combined cost of $52 million.
Most of that is the $32 million being spent on Gaines Hall, which is being expanded and made more energy efficient. Another $14 million is being spent on the new Animal Bioscience Building that will have teaching labs, classrooms, a conference room, faculty offices and research labs.
Walt Banziger, MSU director of facilities, planning, design and construction, says the school is constantly trying to improve the facilities and services.
