HAMILTON, Mont. (AP) - A Missoula County judge has sentenced a 50-year-old Florence man to five years in the Department of Corrections after the man pleaded guilty to his seventh charge of driving under the influence.
The Ravalli Republic reports (http://bit.ly/WNbl3E) District Judge John Larson on Thursday also gave Steve Ray Combs a one-year suspended sentence for misdemeanor negligent endangerment.
Combs also must pay a total of $1,055 in fines and fees.
Authorities say Combs nearly struck a pedestrian and a cyclist and ran at least one red light in Missoula before an officer pulled him over and arrested him in August.
Combs' previous DUIs were in 1981, 1990, 1993, 1995 and two in 2003.
