Mixed Media Art Classes and Open House June 3-7 In Buffalo

The Johnson County Arts and Humanities Council is sponsoring another Buffalo Summer Art Guild Visiting Artist Program next week.

Some openings are available for the mixed media art class “Fantasy Art Figures” taught by visiting Mixed Media Artist Traci Isaly.

Isaly grew up and attended school in Dubois and currently resides in Bozeman, Montana.

According to information provided by the JCAHC, youth ages kindergarten through 8th grade will explore combining wood, wire, cloth and paint along with special items of their own to create one-of-a-kind sculptures during the classes, which run from June 3-7.
High school and adult students will explore “Introduction to Figure-Making” in a special one-night workshop with the artist on Wednesday, June 4th from 7 to 9pm.
Art materials are provided and all experience elevels are encouraged to attend.

Classes will be held in the Clear Creek Elementary School Art Room 106 at 63 N. Burritt.
An Open House and display will be offered to the public Thursday, June 6th from 4 to 6pm at the school.
