The Chief of Enforcement for the Wyoming Department of Revenue Liquor Division has clarified to Sheridan Media that the liquor licenses for the Elk View Inn and Bear Lodge, owned by the same company, are in compliance.

FEMA Announces Buffalo DRC To Close Saturday

The Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) Wyoming Office Of Homeland Security announced Tuesday that the Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Buffalo located at 325 Butte Street will close this Saturday, August 1st at 1pm.

Johnson County Announces Wagon Box Road Closure

Wagon Box Road will close beginning Next week to allow for repairs, according to the Johnson County Road and Bridge department.

A blood drive continues today in Sheridan. Sydney Galletti, with United Blood Services, says blood is needed because there has been a significant increase in the area in the number of trauma patients requiring massive transfusions.

Lightning Starts Three Fires on Crow Reservation

Firefighters with the Crow Agency Bureau of Indian Affairs and Big Horn County continue to battle several wildfires that were ignited late Sunday night by lightning on the Crow Reservation one-hour north of Sheridan in Montana.

UW Trustees Approve Contract With Search Consultant
