A party was held Thursday at Sheridan Memorial Hospital to celebrate the SMH Employee Partners vote to give over $29,000 to support a future expansion of the Intensive Care Unit at the hospital. Hospital Foundation Executive Director, Ada Kirven, explains.
Since its inception seven years ago to connect the employees and community members in fundraising efforts, Kirven tells us, more and more employees are signing up to take part in the partnership.
Ada describes how the money will be used in relation to the Intensive Care Unit at the hospital.
Since it began, the Partner Program has generated $155,000 and funded projects such as the Emergency Department Expansion, Cafeteria Improvements, the ICU and Digital Mammography.
