Mead Signs Supplemental Budget Into Law

Wyoming Governor Matt Mead

Wyoming Governor Matt Mead signed the Supplemental Budget bill Wednesday. The Governor did veto two portions of the bill; spending $450,000 to purchase land for a new Governor's Residence, and the funding of increased judicial salaries. On the supplemental budget as a whole, the Governor stated.

Mead also signed two bills related to contractor preference laws, which he considered a priority for the legislative session.

Mead also signed the manufacturer sales tax exemption bill, and once again thanked legislators for their work and said it was important in attracting a wind tower manufacturing company to Wyoming.
