Wyoming Governor Matt Mead has requested that U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, Tom Vilsack, issue an agricultural disaster declaration for all of Wyoming, with the exception of Teton County.
Mead said that the request has been made, and that they will now wait for a response from the government. If granted, the disaster declaration could provide some federal emergency assistance to Wyoming producers.
