Both Wyoming Gubernatorial candidates agree more needs to be done to combat prescription drug abuse in the state.

As we reported earlier this week, Sheridan Media and Sheridan area law enforcement are sponsoring a Prescription Drug Take-Back event at Walgreens in Sheridan.

On Wednesday's edition of Public Pulse, Wyoming Gubernatorial candidates Matt Mead and Leslie Peterson were host Kim Love's guests, and he asked them about their stance on cracking down on the prescription drug abuse issue.

Republican candidate Matt Mead responded.

And Democrat Leslie Peterson voiced her thoughts.

Tomorrow we'll hear the candidates' views on appointments to the Wyoming Board of Medicine and stricter handling of the prescription drug accountability with physicians.
