Gubernatorial candidates differ in their views of the state's wolf management plan.

On the September 23rd broadcast of KROE's Public Pulse program, host Kim Love spoke with Republican Candidate for governor, Matt Mead, and his Democratic opponent, Leslie Peterson. One issue on which the two have differing opinions is that of wolf management in the state.

Mead is in favor of pursuing a lawsuit with the feds who want Wyoming to change the recently adopted wolf management plan.

He goes on to comment on the proposal to just have a trophy status for wolves.

Mead says that a plan has been put into place based on science and the state should stick with that plan.

Ms. Peterson has a different opinion on the matter.

Peterson says that she's pleased that legislators from Wyoming, Idaho and Montana will be meeting in Salt Lake City on October 9th regarding the wolf issue.
