Montana-Dakota Utilities has scheduled a planned power outage for early this Wednesday morning, May 25th. Jim Sorenson is the MDU Electric Superintendent in Sheridan County; he explains the purpose for the outage and the areas affected.
Sorenson says that they typically schedule these types of maintenance projects overnight while most people are sleeping, so that as few people as possible are inconvenienced. He says if all goes well, the only thing that should be askew are electric alarm clocks.
The hours of the outage are 12 o'clock midnight until 5 am Wednesday.
