Montana-Dakota Utilities has a planned power outage that will occur early Thursday morning for portions of southern Sheridan County.
The outage was actually originally scheduled for late May of this year, but had to be postponed due to the weather. MDU Superintendent Jim Sorenson explains the areas that will be affected by the power outage.
The planned outage will be from 12 am Thursday until 5 am.

The Town of Story and all surrounding areas
US Highway 14 from 743 to 1274 and surrounding areas
Murphy Gulch Road from 28 to 80 and surrounding areas
Meade Creek Road from 1 to 479 and surrounding areas
Upper Prairie Dog Road from 4 to 520
US Highway 87 from 3300 to 4006
US Highway 193 from 336 to 620
Bird Farm Road from 426 to 667
