With the Primary Election just over two weeks away, there is no shortage of candidates making the rounds statewide and locally. State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Dr. Jim McBride, is spending some time in Sheridan to meet and greet the locals, but as he explains, there's another reason he's in town.
McBride stopped by the Sheridan Media studios Thursday for a brief interview, where he addressed recalibration of the funding model for state schools. McBride indicated that there won't be any large increases or decreases, and that funding will remain status quo for the most part; however, there are a couple of areas that will be addressed.
Furthermore, McBride added.
