As a continuance to a speech on the state of Sheridan’s economy, Mayor Dave Kinskey said recently that the public sector is thriving.

He spoke about educational opportunities, specifically, about the classes to be offered at Sheridan College and others through a partnership with the state’s university.

He went on to talk about the community’s hospitals, more about education and the vocational technical classes to be offered soon.

Also, he said, the city leaders have a common vision, now, for the economic growth of the area and have placed a focus on development of infrastructure, which has paid off.

He said he and other leaders are ready to promote the city and have found a unique selling point for enticing people to come to Wyoming.

Meanwhile at city hall, he said they’re trying to make sure they do their part by promoting job readiness, first as a positive mental attitude. And, he said, he thinks they are there.
