Earlier this week the Sheridan City Council held a work session to go over the City's snow plan and policy. Part of that policy are the various streets throughout Sheridan that are designated as snow routes. When the City issues a snow route alert, all residents who live along those routes must remove their vehicles if they are parked on the street. Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey says that there are number of venues that residents can use to find out if an alert has been issued.
The City's street crews will be working more closely this winter with the Police Department regarding the issuance of citations if residents don't comply with the City's snow route alert ordinance.
