Buffalo's Mayor-elect Randy Dyess is ready for the challenge of taking over the city when he and other city officials are sworn into office during Tuesday's City Council meeting. Dyess said he is up to the task.
When asked what he will focus on as Mayor, Dyess had this to say.
Two new faces will join the city council this week, and Dyess said he is excited for the new ideas and enthusiasm the two will bring to the council.
Also on the agenda for the city council Tuesday is for the mayor to make his board appointments, which require no oaths, and the city will make various housekeeping decisions such as insurance renewals for city employees and the city will designate their official banking institutions and official publication for another year.
The Buffalo City Council meeting will be Tuesday, January 4 at 4 pm in City Hall.
