Democratic hopeful for Wyoming Superintendent of Public Instruction, Mike Massie, was in town over the weekend, hosting a BBQ at Kendrick Park. A group of twenty-some enthusiastic supporters turned out Saturday to meet and encourage the candidate, who is touting a message of excellence. Massie defines the virtue.
While problems seem to persist in the PAW’s testing, the proficiency assessments for Wyoming students, Massie has a simple answer for the problem…get rid of it.
Massie has served the past sixteen years in the state legislature and is a member of the Education and Appropriations committees.
