It's their mission, 'building girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.' That's what Girl Scouts is all about; it's not all about Girl Scout Cookies.
On Saturday, Jean Harm set up shop at the McDonald's on the north end of town, hoping to recruit girls, K-12, to join Girl Scouts. She wasn't having much luck.
Harm has been involved in Girl Scouts over 50 years and knows the value of being a part.
There are thirteen Girl Scout troops in Sheridan County and Harm encourages all parents to get their girls involved.
Today, there are more than 3 millions Girl Scouts. For more information call Harm at 307-672-3611.
