St. Lukes Lutheran Church in Buffalo

St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Buffalo will host a Baked Potato Fundraiser for Danielle Dull and her family Thursday, March 17 from 11am until 1pm, at the church located at 615 N. Burritt.

Church Pastor John Orwig explains why they are doing the fundraiser.

The funds will go to help the Dull family with medical expenses associated with her recent stay in the hospital. Danielle was the victim of a domestic violence incident where she was dragged behind a vehicle.

The lunch will feature a “Build a Spud Potato Bar” with toppings, salads, drinks, and desserts for $7 per person, and seating will be available at the church.

Or for $5 per person, enjoy a baked potato with topping, either sour cream and chives, broccoli and cheese, chili, or corned beef and cabbage and have it delivered. The church will offer free delivery for orders of four potatoes or more.

Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, through their Care Abounds in Communities program, has already donated $300 to the fundraising event.

For more information and to order your lunch delivered, contact the church at 684-1219.
