Lummis Selected to Serve on Powerful Committee

In a media release issued Thursday, U.S. Representative Cynthia Lummis announced that she has been selected by her Republican colleagues to serve on the prestigious House Committee on Appropriations. The House Committee on Appropriations sets specific federal expenditures for government agencies and departments.

Lummis said that it certainly is a great honor to be selected by her colleagues to serve on the House Committee on Appropriations. She went on to say that when she is home in Wyoming, the top concern she hears about is the out of control federal spending. Lummis stated that she will ensure the people of Wyoming’s concerns will be expressed loud and clear.
