A Look Back in Time: March 7, 1914

Four buffalo arrived here last night from Kalispel, Mont., and yesterday they were taken to Pioneer Park. The animals are a gift to this city from the Honorable J.B. Kendrick.

The animals are short yearlings, three cows and one bull, but all are of unusual size for such young stock, with an estimated weight of more than 600 pounds each.

In one of the fiercest games ever seen in Sheridan, the local high school basketball team defeated the alumni five from Buffalo high school by 21 to 11.

The Buffalo basketball team was at the Great Western Hotel last night.

W.E. Foley arrived home last night from a trip to Maine with Mrs. Foley after the death of her father there.
