A Look Back in Time: March 15, 1914

The Sheridan Gun club will hold a match at the fair grounds this afternoon at 2 o'clock.

The Adams ranch is having a big stock sale on March 19. Anyone desiring high-grade Galloway or polled Angus cattle should plan to attend.

Come to Merritt's Cafe today for Sunday dinner. Roast turkey with dressing, cranberry sauce and celery is 50 cents, chicken fricassee with celery 35 cents, or roast leg of pork with apple sauce 25 cents. All meals come with cream tomato soup, mashed potatoes and creamed peas, and raspberry roll with whipped cream. Drinks include coffee, tea, milk or – for those who wish a caffeine-free coffee alternative – roasted-grain postum.

For Sheridan Media, this is Pat Blair, with a look at Sheridan County on March 15, 1914.
