A Look Back in Time: March 14, 1914

Harvey Gue has purchased the half interest in the Star Grocery store previously owned by his partner, M.R. Irvin.

The two men started the business seven years ago, and they have established a large trade. Mr. Gue is now sole owner of the store. He says he will continue the present policy of the establishment.

Harry Stevens of the New York Store, and W.G. Griffin of the Sheridan Banking company have arrived home from a trip to the Orient. The two men sailed with a large party of Shriners. They stopped at the Philippines and made extensive inland trips into Japan and China.

Lena Covington and Beatrice Tucker from Lodge Grass, Mont., were at the Great Western hotel last night.

For Sheridan Media, this is Pat Blair, with a look at Sheridan County on March 14, 1914.
