President Fryberger of the Commercial Club announced today he has appointed a committee to meet with a committee from Miles City, Montana, to discuss plans for a possible railroad between our two cities.
The directors of the City Mission met last evening. The board has purchased a carload of logs and ties from Ranchester. The wood will be cut up into kindling by men at the mission, and will be sold around town. All men who stay at the mission are required to help support the place.
An official of the Sheridan railway company this afternoon said there is no truth to recent rumors that the company will build a line so street cars can run to and from the state hospital. The story, which says a line would be extended by way of Sheridan avenue, was in circulation last evening. It was started, as nearly as can be traced, to someone close to the company.
