A Look Back in Time: July 27, 1914

Sheridan police have decided that, owing to the difficulty in getting a car onto the street that is parked between two vehicles lengthwise, drivers will be permitted to park their cars on the right side of the street at an angle.

It has been suggested that an angle of 45 degrees with the curb will be sufficient, and the cars would not greatly obstruc the street. Owing to the narrowness of the Smith Street alley, no vehicles will be permitted to park there.

The Women's Christian Temperance Union will meet at 2:30 o'clock on Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. W.M. Stowell, 924 North Main Street.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Merrell left for Moorcroft this afternoon.
