The Lodge Grass school that was closed earlier in the week due to a water pipe break will stay closed through the end of the week.
High School Secretary Linda Small said classes will resume Monday. She said they're still cleaning up the damage from a sprinkler line that broke on Sunday night, sending water into the cafeteria like a waterfall, flooding into a food storage room.
They'll still be cleaning up as classes resume, she said, so will relocate for lunches to the home-economic rooms. Thankfully, she said, the walk-in freezers were not affected by the flooding water.
The school is actually in Montana, but about 50 miles north of Sheridan, and serves a student body of 300 from kindergarten through the 12th grade. The school is set to close for the holiday break after class on Friday, Dec. 20.
