Some local youngsters were recognized at the National Western Stock Show in Denver recently. Sheridan Media's Chris Foy spoke with Rindy West, the mother of 10 year-old Sheridan resident Braden West.

Braden's winning steer has a pretty well-suited name. West explains.

West says everything from horses to rabbits, sheep to pigs - and even yaks - were shown at the national competition. Additionally, Matt Saur of Buffalo raked in grand champion and a few of his steer won their class.
