Crimestopper Release: Sheridan Police Department
The Sheridan Police Department is requesting your help with a number of vandalisms occurring in our community. The department has received seven reports of graffiti occurring on private businesses and public property within the last several months.
The unknown subject, or subjects, marks the areas with similar writings involving the word “love”, as well as spray painting the face of what appears to be a crying woman.
The police department is in need of the community’s help
in identifying a possible suspect or suspects in this case.
Numerous colors have been used in the graffiti to include red, black, blue, white, yellow and purple. Prior to an incident in Kendrick Park on 3/18/14, the subject(s) primarily vandalized the Broadway Street business area, as well as the overpass on N. Sheridan Avenue.
