Those that suffer from seasonal allergies don't need to be reminded what spring and summer lead to, as their runny nose, itchy eyes and wheezing chest are a clear reminder. Most people use over the counter medications to alleviate the symptoms of season allergies, but when does it get to the point of seeking professional help?
Otolaryngologist Cheryl Varner with Big Horn Ear, Nose and Throat explains in part two of our series on allergies.

While the aforementioned symptoms are typical for allergy sufferers, Dr. Varner says there are some symptoms that people don't always attribute to allergies.

Big Horn Ear, Nose and Throat will be holding allergy awareness screenings later this month. We'll have an additional story forthcoming with more details on the screenings as well as how allergy immunotherapy may be the answer for those that suffer from severe or chronic allergies.
