It was all spit polish and shine as over one hundred classics, trucks, muscle cars, and hot rods rolled down the streets of Sheridan this past weekend, all part of the local car club's Karz Rod Run.
It’s a great opportunity for guys (or gals) to sit down and just talk cars. Building these classics takes time and money, but the rewards are immeasurable. Club president Scott Calkins likens it to cleaning house.
One hundred and fifty-three participants from ten different states took part in the car show and fourteen major awards were given, with the overall “Best of Show” honors going to a local couple, Jim and Brenda Haskett, owners of a 1940 Ford F-100 pick-up.
The Karz Rod Run has been held every fourth of July weekend since 2000.
