The Black Tooth Brewing Company in Sheridan recently won two medals at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colorado. There were over 700 breweries that entered the competition, with 4,800 beers judged in 84 different categories.

Black Tooth took home a bronze medal for their Stumpy Ridge Stout and a gold medal for their Black Eagle Baltic Porter. Co-Owner of the brewery, Tim Barnes says it's nice to receive the recognition.

The owner stated that producing a quality product locally is rewarding in its own right.

This isn't the first time that they've received medals for their brew, as Black Tooth has a bevy of medals that hang from the bar from various competitions over the past several years. Be sure to join us later in the week, where we'll hear more from Barnes on how the canning operation is coming along at the brewery.
