The Little Miss Johnson County Pageant, a part of the Little Miss Wyoming Scholarship Pageant series, will be today at the Buffalo Senior Center.
The pageant series has a number of local competitions held each year, all leading up to the 2012 Little Miss Wyoming State Finals in Casper June 7-10.
According to the Little Miss Wyoming website, those involved will develop skills in communication, interview, public speaking, and talent. They will develop self-confidence, self-esteem, good-sportsmanship, good grooming habits, poise, personality, and charm, and a strong understanding of the importance of serving their community.
Little Miss Johnson County registration will be this afternoon at 5pm at the Buffalo Senior Center, with the pageant itself beginning after registrations.
The entry fee per contestant is $35.
