Volunteers of America have moved The Lifehouse rehabilitation program into a building all it's own.

It's been a long road for the program and its residents. The Lifehouse has moved locations several times since its inception, sometimes making the best of old buildings and cramped spaces. Director of The Lifehouse, Mark Robertson, said it wasn't always easy, but it was well worth the wait.

The Lifehouse's new facility treats addicts on a sliding-scale pay schedule, and provides comprehensive recovery support via a 12-step program. To learn more about The Lifehouse or tour the new facility, contact VOA Director of Community Affairs, Ethan Boone, at 672-0475.
