Today is the final day to submit applications for the state's home heating help program. The LIEAP (lee-ap) program helps low-income families cover the costs of heating their homes between the months of October and May for unregulated heat, and from October 15th through June 15th for regulated heat sources, such as gas and electric.
Getting an application is quite simple, says program coordinator Brenda Ilg.
