The Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library has a unique exhibit available for the public to behold, courtesy of the National Endowment for the Humanities and the American Library Association.
“Lincoln: the Constitution and the Civil War” is on display through May 15, and examines how Lincoln confronted secession and slavery and balanced civil liberties to unite the nation. Debbie Iverson, Program Coordinator at the library, said they've added a local touch to the exhibit.
The exhibit travels to libraries around the nation. Sheridan's library has been waiting four years to host the display.
