This weekend's Friends of the Library annual auction raised nearly $54,000, and drew a crowd of approximately 500 people.
According to director, Cameron Duff, the numbers will be confirmed next month, but preliminary figures show this year was one of the most profitable yet. The past weekend's event marked the 30th anniversary of the organization.
