Today is the closing day for the Smithsonian's “Key Ingredients' exhibit at the Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library.
The display is open to the public, at no charge. The building will be open from 9-5 and is located at 33 West Alger Street in Sheridan.
The traveling exhibit comes from the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C., and has been on display since November. It was billed as an exhibit that investigates how culture, ethnicity, landscape, and tradition influence the different foods and flavors we enjoy.
According to library staff, the exhibit has offered an entertaining and informative overview of our diverse regional cooking and eating traditions. The exhibit was made possible by a partnership between the Smithsonian and the Wyoming Humanities Council.
