The 29th annual Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library Benefit Auction will be held this Saturday night at the library beginning with a silent auction at 5:30.
There are about 30 more items than usual this year that will be distributed in live and silent auctions and raffle giveaways. Alice Roach tells us about some of the raffle items and their value.
Admission to the event comes with an annual “friends of the library” membership that will be available at the door. Tickets are $20 for individuals, $35 for families, and $15 for seniors.
There will be about 40 items each in the silent and live auctions. A variety of offerings including dinners at the HF Bar and Eaton's Ranch, a tour-guided fishing trip, and signed books by Craig Johnson and C.J. Box, just to name a few.
The event has gathered more than $40,000 in the past two years, which goes to purchase new materials for the library.
