Sheridan County road 1213, known as Maverick Road, will remain closed for at least another week. The closure is due to a Sheridan Area Water Supply waterline relocation project.

County Commissioners to Discuss Floodplain Management

Sheridan County commissioners will consider items ranging from county floodplain management to mobile home park licenses for 2014 when they meet this week. The meeting will start at 9 Tuesday morning in the commissioners' board room on the second floor of the county courthouse addition.

Ranchester Council to Consider Annexation

Ranchester's Town Council will consider annexation of Lot 2 of Spirit Ridge in its meeting this week. The meeting will start at 6:30 Tuesday at the town hall. Spirit Ridge is a subdivision of two- and five-acre parcels adjacent to the town.
