Trail End Guilds' Gears Up for Holiday Open House

The Trail End State Historic Site in Sheridan has once again been transformed into a Christmas lovers delight, as the 14,000 square foot mansion boasts seven elaborately decorated trees, and decorations of the season too numerous to mention.

The SheridanAires will present their winter concert this week at the Sheridan Senior Center entitled “Christmas is All in the Heart”. Senior Center Activities Director Jane Perkins says that they've expanded this year's show a bit.

City of Sheridan Receives State Grant for Water Quality

The City of Sheridan has received a $400,000 grant from the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality to address pollution in Little Goose and Goose Creek. In 2010, DEQ released the Goose Creek Watershed TMDL.

Sheridan High School's W.A.T.CH. program is collecting cards, letters and other items to fill care packages that they will send to the troops this holiday season.

Scenic Character Plan Approved by Planning Commission

The City of Sheridan Planning Commission met Monday night to consider the Scenic Character Plan. Developing the plan has been a process that has been about a year in the making and it builds upon work started in the City County Joint Planning Area Land Use Plan.
