CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Former Wyoming U.S. Sen. Malcolm Wallop has died at age 78. The Republican who served in the Senate from 1977 to 1995 fought for "Star Wars" space defense and for a tough anti-communist policy in Central America.

Eleutian Technologies Closes Sheridan Office, Employees Will Work from Home

Ten Sleep-based Eleutian technologies announced the closure of their office in Sheridan Wednesday, citing that the office that housed their teaching center was no longer being used by employees.

Reservoir Fire: Precip Calms Blaze, Closures Still in Place

After significant growth on Sunday September 11, and another surge on Monday, according to a release from the Forest Service Wednesday morning, the reservoir fire has grown to 1,243 acres in size burning northwest of Shell Reservoir in the Cloud Peak Wilderness.

Lawyers for convicted murderer Wyatt Bear Cloud of Sheridan have filed a motion with the Wyoming Supreme Court requesting that his conviction of 1st Degree Murder be nullified and his case retried in Juvenile Court.
