Day one of the two-day Legislative Forum sponsored by the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs Committee got under way Wednesday at Sheridan City Hall. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter was there and has more.
Local legislators heard from a large number of organizations and individuals, as the forum creates an opportunity to update and address the local delegation prior to next month's budget session.
One issue that was brought up several times addressed poverty in Sheridan County. Representative Rosie Berger.
Berger says that's what makes these types of forums so important when hearing about the issues in Sheridan County.
The Legislative Forum will continue today and wrap up with legislators touring the new Green House for Living facility in north Sheridan.
