This was the 18th year in a row for the Rocky Mountain Leather and Trade Show to come to Sheridan and it all could be found under one roof at the Holiday Inn.
David Reis helped organize the event and said the show was for all leather workers regardless of age or experience.
There were sewing machines, leather, hand tools, stamping tools, saddle supplies and hardware. Over 70 vendors were on hand plying their products and add in the visitors, 800-plus people were at the show. It was a leather worker’s Mecca. Reis lauds the attributes of leather.
Eighteen years coming to Sheridan, there has to be a history behind this event.
Next year the 19th annual Rocky Mountain Leather Trade Show will take place, same time, same place.
