The Wyoming Legislature's Joint Corporations, Elections and Political Subdivisions Committee will meet in Casper later this week to discuss the redistricting bill that will be brought before the legislature early next year.
The committee held numerous meetings around the state over the summer that included a stop in Sheridan nearly a month ago. The Sheridan delegation decided on Option “A” Improved, a plan that would move the residents of Story back into Sheridan County representation with Senator Bruce Burns and Representative Rosie Berger.
That plan was submitted to the committee at their meeting in Sheridan in late September.
Representative John Patton sits on the joint committee and says that among the many things that they'll be discussing, a solution to the redistricting dilemma will most certainly get its fare share of attention.
The Joint Corporations, Elections and Political Subdivisions Committee will meet in Casper this Thursday and Friday.
