Two years ago, a beloved Big Horn student was killed in a car accident, but he has not been, and will not be, forgotten. This Sunday, October 17th, the friends and classmates of Lane Goldhammer will be holding a memorial bowling fundraiser at Cloud Peak Lanes in Sheridan.
One of the organizers is Big Horn High School student Ryan Carlson, who describes the impact Lane had on everyone he met.
Another good buddy is Will O'Dell, who tells us why this 2nd annual fundraiser has been put together.
So will they have a special “Lane” lane? Carlson says.
Lane's football jersey number was 69, so perhaps those who bowl on lanes 6 and 9 will get a lot of strikes.
All the proceeds from the Lane Goldhammer Memorial Bowling Fundraiser will go to the scholarship fund. Cost is $15 for three games, and food will be provided as well. The event runs from 1 to 4 pm October 17th.
