The Sheridan Community Land Trust held their annual open house Thursday night at the Sheridan Inn. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter was there and has the story.

Well over a hundred people showed up at the open house to learn about future projects and to take part in the Polish-themed party commemorating the Black Diamond Mine Trail Byway project. Land Trust Executive Director Colin Betzler says that they partnered with the State Historic Preservation to make the project a reality.

Betzler also talked about some of the projects that they are hoping to make some progress on during the year.

Betlzer added that everything that the Land Trust does is in partnership with private landowners, and in some cases, they are looking to capitalize on existing public access.
